‘The In between’ is a collection of 10 small - large paintings created in the Melbourne lockdown of 2021 and exhibited at Mario’s Fitzroy. Being my first completed collection of paintings, they represent an exploration of colour, composition and conceptual meaning which came to be throughout the turbulent times spent in isolation through lockdown. During this period I felt myself deprived of physical space, as an aid I would dive into digital content, media and Ideas, dreaming of what might exist beyond our world and in outer space which had always been and always will be a mystery to me.
